Introduction: hypertension constitutes one of the main problems affecting public health.Modern society and its lifestyle conditions increase the presence of risk factors in people.Objective: to identify the risk factors of hypertension in patients from N0 VII health area in Cienfuegos municipality between September and December 2019.Method: an observational, descriptive, cross-sectional study was carried out.
